Emily from Sharnbrook & a Sharnbrook Upper School student passed her driving test FIRST TIME this week.
She took driving lessons in Bedford with Bedford driving school Txt-Drive.
Emily passed on her FIRST attempt & made just 4 minor errors on the driving test in Bedford. She was asked to do the reverse around a corner & the turn in the road.

Sean, a Mark Rutherford Upper School student, passed his driving test in Bedford on Monday.
This was his FIRST driving test & he passed!! Sean had taken a series of driving lessons in Bedford with Txt-Drive driving school & he passed his driving test just 38 days after his first driving lesson. In total Sean took 27 hours of driving lessons in Bedford before passing his driving test.
Sean was asked to perform the reverse around a corner & the turn in the road maneuvers on his driving test in Bedford. He picked up just 13 driver errors (minors) on the test.

Congratulations to Zach from Bedford who passed his driving test in Bedford on Wednesday.

You’ve probably seen those local & national driving schools offering 5 lessons for £55 or 5 lessons for £56?
They may seem like a good deal at first – but look deeper into the figures & they aren’t that cheap after all!!
The DSA suggest that learners require 44 hours of professional driving lessons with a qualified driving instructor before passing their driving test. These 44 hours are in ADDITION to 23 hours of private practise with a parent therefore 67 hours on average before you pass your driving test.
So looking at a large local driving school which offers 5 driving lessons for £55 it means you would pay £874.00 for 44 hours of driving lessons including the 5 for £55 (£21 per hour after the initial 5 lessons). Looking at a national driving school which advertises a similar offer of 5 lessons for £56 you would end up having to pay £873.05 for 44 hours (including the 5 for £56 & then £20.95 for each additional hour).
